  • Strong contrast between light and dark: faces, silhouettes, pets
  • One clear subject. Busy backgrounds turn to mush

Worth knowing

  • It only reads when lit from behind. Flat on a shelf it's a white panel. That's the trick, not a fault.
  • Only send photos you took, or have permission to use.
