What works well

  • One clear subject filling the frame, with strong contrast behind it
  • Pets and portraits. Faces read far better than busy scenes

Worth knowing

  • This is filament painting, not photo printing. Your picture is reduced to a handful of colours, so you get a bold posterised version rather than a photographic copy. That's the look, not a limitation.
  • These take far longer on the printer than anything else we make, so allow extra time.
